Christine Miller Joins Valkyrie Enterprises as the Firm's Controller

November 30, 2009 - Virginia Beach - Christine Miller has joined Virginia Beach-based defense contractor, Valkyrie Enterprises, as the firm’s Assistant Vice President-Controller.  Miller has eighteen years of financial management experience;  prior to coming to Valkyrie, she held management positions at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), AMSEC , LLC, a subsidiary of Northrop Grumman, and Anteon Corporation (now GDIT).   

As the Controller, Chris will ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and advise senior management on all financial matters, including strategic planning and identifying business and financial risks.

Chris Miller holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Accounting from Eastern Connecticut State University and a Master’s degree in Management/Finance from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. 

Chris is also involved in the community; she is an assistant troop leader & treasurer for Daisy Girl Scout Troop 669.
