Valkyrie Supports the United Way's Day of Caring

September 21, 2009 - Virginia Beach - on Friday, September 11, local community members participated in the United Way of South Hampton Roads’ 18th Annual Day of Caring, the largest single-day volunteer event in our area. Day of Caring provides a way for businesses and organizations to build camaraderie and goodwill among employees while helping the community. Among the participants were personnel from Virginia Beach-based, Valkyrie Enterprises, LLC.

Valkyrie volunteers spent the morning at Rosemont Forest Elementary School, where they did some much needed landscaping. Tasks included weeding, trimming branches, mulching, assembling and erecting bird feeders, and planting trees.
