What is a Valkyrie, anyway?

Valkyrie Enterprises, LLC came into being because we wanted to create a veteran owned small business that was known for being all about bringing responsive support to the warfighter………with the best talent available being assigned to work with our customers to support their critical missions. The Valkyries come from Norse, or Viking, mythology. They appear in many Viking cultures and are colorfully immortalized as supernatural battle-maidens, riding the clouds in warrior armor….sent to the battlefields by the Viking gods to support the warriors and to help bring victory.

One of the first known references to the aurora borealis comes from this same mythology. The Vikings believed that these northern lights were caused by light flickering off the Valkyries’ armor as they rode through the sky. The Valkyries had names that translate to things like, “battle, strength, raging, victory bringer, spear of battle, she who drives victory, and knower of the mysteries of victory.”

Like our adopted namesakes, at Valkyrie Enterprises, LLC we are committed to serving our warfighters and to striving to find discriminators that help ensure victory….victory not only against battlefield opponents, but in victory in tackling tough budget and transformation issues, and in improving efficiency and effectiveness of the programs that support our military forces. We exist to serve.
